Convert or Die

These are the words that Mark Arabo who is a National spokesman for Iraqi Christians and Chaldean-American said that ISIS is threatening. "The letter that they sent out with those three items (convert, pay a fine or die), they did ask to pay a fine but actually after they pay a fine, they (ISIS militants) are actually taking over their wives and their daughters and making them into their wives. So really it's convert or die, face death by the sword," explained Arabo. After reading his words there is no compromising nor negotiating that can take place with these people.

It's no doubt that we have a huge issue in Iraq that is simply out of control. ISIS is on a war path to see the destruction of everyone that does not convert to their beliefs. Reports are showing that ISIS has been beheading Christians and putting their heads on poles, including children. Arabo says "They are absolutely killing every Christian they see. This is a genocide in every sense of the word. They want everyone to convert and they want Sharia Law to be the law of the land." Little Child Was Cut In Half - Charisma News

It has also been reported that ISIS is making threats towards the United States. ISIS has stated "We will raise the flag of Allah in the White House," and, "If America attacks Iraq (which we have) every American embassy in the world will be exposed and attacked with car bombs."

They didn't stop there! They have also vowed that "If the US bombs Iraq, every American citizen is a legitimate target."

Christian persecution is still very much real! Living in America it is easy to take Christianity for granted. I'm surprised at the amount of Christians I meet that admit they don't even attend church. It's only once a week (twice is nice, three times it's revival). We've got to be a people that live our faith and not only pay it lip service. Many Christians including the Apostles have died for this faith and we are seeing it today. While Islam claims "convert or die" Christianity proclaims "repent or die in your sins". Christians do not go around waving guns and forcing conversions. Yet Christianity is the true religion of peace.Christians care about the souls of the lost and our message is found in Acts 2:38 of the Bible "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Not "convert or die."

  2. Yeah Andrea I completely agree. It's scary as well. Something needs to be done. Let's continue to remember them in our prayers.
